"This year, we wanted to do something different and Cilts had never before been on the National Eisteddfod stage in a dance competition, as far as we know. They were very well received and they became a real talking point of the day, we were interviewed by S4C for the television coverage to ask about the heritage of Cilts in Wales and why we decided to display them as national dress. They were greatly received and the Cilts looked fantastic on stage providing the dance with additional movement and colour. We have wanted to do this for some time and when we approached Wales Tartan Centre, they could not have been more helpful in assisting us to make this happen. I'd like to take a moment to share with you our gratitude for the fabulous service we received from yourselves when we hired kilts for my boys to wear at our wedding. Nothing was too much trouble for you even with our limited available time to get the boys to you for fittings on the run up to the wedding! We were very impressed with the patient, friendly service of the Welsh Tartan Centre, from the other side of the world, in the process of deciding on the choice of tartan for our new waistcoats. Once the decision was made, the speed and efficiency of manufacturing and delivering 64 waistcoats  (for a wide variety of male waistlines !) was truly amazing.  There was an appreciative gasp and loud applause from the audience when the curtain rose for the second half of our St. David's Day Concert in our bright new look.

The wedding took place at Gretna Green on New Year’s Eve and our ‘Pugh’ Welsh Tartan certainly got the Scots talking. We purchased a selection of items for our wedding party to wear, but most important to us were of course our outfits – the Full Cilt Regalia and beautiful ladies Clogyn, all in the family tartan.

We had fabulous service from the get-go, with plenty of communication about our order, and thorough answers to my questions. Not only did Tony make every effort to get the cilt to Ohio in time for Christmas, but when a snowstorm blew through Heathrow and New York delaying all Christmas parcels, he kept us posted on his efforts to track down the cilt, even emailing during his winter break. When everything arrived neatly packaged, it fit perfectly and my husband is delighted with his gift. Thank you for some hand-holding and customer service which went truly above and beyond. I recommend this company unreservedly and whole-heartedly.

I found Wales Tartan Centres’ customer focus to be very reassuring. The kilt kit, and numerous other accessories I purchased, were for a very important occasion to me, and the staff at WTC responded as it were important to them, also. The WTC staff even phoned me to discuss sizing of my kilt kit and made valuable recommendations befitting their lengthy, professional experience. Their expertise, and prompt and friendly service helped ensure that I would look proper for that special occasion.

All I can say is thank you for your service in providing the trews in such a short time. I am really impressed by both the quality and the fit of my Trews Outfit and I shall be proud to wear it at the Burns Suppers I shall be attending in the new year.
